Terms of Use for Video Downloader - Home Apps

By downloading, installing, or using Video Downloader - Home Apps (hereinafter referred to as the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App and uninstall it immediately.
1. App Functionality and Permissions
The App functions as a custom Android home launcher and an integrated web browser with media downloading capabilities. By using the App, you grant it the necessary system permissions to operate, which include but are not limited to:
Launcher Operations: You authorize the App to act as your device's home screen, overlay system elements (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW, SYSTEM_OVERLAY_WINDOW), manage widgets (BIND_APPWIDGET), and facilitate the uninstallation of other applications via the device interface (REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES).
Media and Storage Access: You grant the App permission to access, read, and organize local media files (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO) strictly for the purpose of managing your downloaded content within the App's "Finished" tab.
Network and System State: You authorize the App to access internet and network states (INTERNET, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE), read basic device state for performance configurations (READ_PHONE_STATE), and schedule internal download tasks (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM).
Notifications: You consent to receiving local system notifications regarding download progress and completion (POST_NOTIFICATIONS).
2. User Content and Copyright Responsibilities
The App provides a built-in browser to detect and download media from the web.
Copyright Compliance: You are solely responsible for the media you choose to download. You agree not to download, distribute, or share copyrighted material without the explicit permission of the copyright owner.
YouTube Restriction: In strict compliance with Google Play Developer Policies and YouTube's Terms of Service, the App does not support or facilitate the downloading of videos from YouTube. Any attempt to bypass this restriction is a violation of these Terms.
No Affiliation: The App is an independent utility and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any social media platform or content network.
3. Third-Party Services and Advertising
The App integrates authorized third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) to provide core functionality, stability, and monetization. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the operation of these services:
Advertising: The App uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and relies on your device's Advertising ID (AD_ID) to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements.
Analytics and Stability: The App utilizes Firebase SDKs (including Crashlytics, Performance, and Analytics) to monitor application health, track anonymous usage data, and report crashes to improve the user experience.
Marketing Attribution: The App uses the Install Referrer API to analyze marketing campaign performance.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the App's reliability, accuracy, or compatibility with your specific device. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the home launcher or the downloading features.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developers and owners of Video Downloader - Home Apps shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to data loss, device malfunction, or legal disputes arising from downloaded copyrighted material.
6. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms of Use at any time. Any changes will be reflected in the updated text within the App or on the Google Play Store listing. Your continued use of the App following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
